SW Rec – if not interested feel free to skip.

I normally keep quiet around here and I have no idea if anyone actually reads my journal, which is fair since I rarely update but I have to share this story.

I was never a fan of Obi-Wan. I though is “truth from a certain point of view” i.e. lying, set up Luke in the worst possible way to find out the truth about his father. Destroying the foundations of everything he believed in and most certainly setting him on the path of the dark side. I mean come on! Did Obi-Wan really think is slightly obsessive former padawan wasn’t going to spill the beans? Episode I and II did not endear me in anyway, despite the hotness of Mr. Mcgregor. (yes I am that shallow)

But oh boy did Episode III show me the light. Obi-Wan’s faith and love in Anakin showed through so clearly that even I, doubting skeptic that I am, to see the true tragedy - he wasn’t lying, at least as he perceived it. In the end it was easier to believe that Ani was dead, his heart couldn’t stand the alternative. Obi-wan may have been piss poor at showing it, but he did really love Anakin.

And here is Obi-wan and Ani, at the end, in a way that it could have happened. And my heart breaks for them both.

11:29PM - Random Rant

Dear Christian Singles,

I realize that you really probably do have some good intentions as well as trying to make a few bucks with these damn messages you keep sending me but there are some logic flaws.

For starters I am not Christian. I’m a godless pagan, which last I heard the majority of Christianity historically has had a problem with.

I am also in no way interested in dating or joining up with religious people who spam email me. Somehow that just seems blasphemous that you use the same tactics as those who try to sell me bigger penis and a lower mortgage rate. It’s not expressly forbidden in the bible but it should be.

Point number three I am not single. I’m quite happy living in sin with my boytoy where we do all sorts fornication for the pure express purpose of sinful carnal pleasure and not for the whole “being fruitful and multiplying” thing. So please stop sending me these damn annoying emails.

11:42PM - AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Revenge of the Sith.

I have no words.

Yes there are some parts that are clunky and don’t think I didn’t notice that little plot flaw but honestly who gives a shit.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE

My heart is broken into itty-bitty pieces but good god.

Lucas, I defended episodes I and II, and don't get me wrong, despite their massive flaws I did like them. But this.......you have completely and utterly redeemed yourself. I LOVED this movie.

And again I reiterate.

LOVE

3:05PM - Hello.

Hello, Greetings from a Fandom Whore.

As I stated in my info I use this journal to keep track of my fannish things. With so many people friend locking their journals I need to create a new journal to keep my much younger and still not legal sisters from bad nefarious porn. Not that I think the seven year old would even understand.

I’m pretty much a lurker so you are under absolutely no obligation to friend me I won’t get offended or uppity. Oh and the pretty icon is due to oxoniensis.
